Football Gossip: Nicolas Jackson Favors Newcastle Move, Xavi Simons Swap Talks, and Transfer Updates

Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson, 24, reportedly prefers a move to Newcastle United if he leaves Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea are in discussions with RB Leipzig over a potential swap deal involving Netherlands midfielder Xavi Simons, 22, and France forward Christopher Nkunku, 27, which could see Nkunku return to the German club.

Newcastle will decide on pursuing Jackson after resolving the future of Sweden striker Alexander Isak, 25.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have reportedly made a bid for Brentford forward Yoane Wissa, 28, but Liverpool are monitoring the situation as they see him as an alternative if they fail to sign Isak.

France striker Randal Kolo Muani, 26, is said to prefer Juventus over Newcastle, after spending last season on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

Sunderland have enquired about 26-year-old English defender Lloyd Kelly, who has just joined Juventus on an obligation-to-buy after an initial loan from Newcastle.

AC Milan are in talks to sign Denmark striker Rasmus Højlund, 22, on a loan with a buy option, but Manchester United would prefer a permanent sale.

After signing Slovenia striker Benjamin Šeško, Manchester United are looking to offload England winger Jadon Sancho, 25, Argentina winger Alejandro Garnacho, 21, and Brazil forward Antony, 25.

United are also considering signing free agent Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 28, after his departure from Everton.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly made an offer for Monaco’s French midfielder Soungoutou Magassa, 21.

Kostas Tsimikas could leave Liverpool after being left out of their Community Shield squad, with Nottingham Forest showing interest.

Besiktas and Fenerbahce might move for Marseille’s Jonathan Rowe, 22, while Rennes and Atalanta are also linked.
