The 2025/26 Premier League season kicks off with a blockbuster line-up, as Manchester United host Arsenal in the first Super Sunday clash, live on Sky Sports. Opening weekend matches also include Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, and Leeds — all available live on Sky.
Sky Sports is set to broadcast a record-breaking 215 exclusive Premier League matches this season, up from 128. With 80% of all televised fixtures now on Sky, fans are in for more live football than ever before.

Tough Starts and New Stories

No Boxing Day Fixtures, but Holiday Football Secured
There are no Premier League matches scheduled for Boxing Day, but fixtures on Saturday, December 27 may be moved for TV coverage. A full EFL round will be played on Boxing Day.
To protect player welfare, no team will play twice in under 48 hours between December 27 and December 30. Each club will play one home game on either December 27 or January 3, with reduced travel during this festive period.
