President John Dramani Mahama has returned to Ghana following his participation in the Africa Forward Summit held in Nairobi, Kenya. The summit brought together African and international leaders to discuss key issues affecting the continent’s growth and development.
The event, jointly hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron, focused on areas such as energy transition, healthcare reforms, and the strengthening of African financial institutions.
During the summit, President Mahama participated in high-level talks on energy and green transition policies, joined strategic discussions on African financial institutions, and co-chaired a session on improving healthcare systems across the continent.
On the sidelines of the summit, he held bilateral meetings with several global leaders and officials, including IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, representatives of the African Continental Free Trade Area, and officials from the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
The meetings highlighted Ghana’s continued commitment to international collaboration, economic growth, and sustainable development.
