Former President John Dramani Mahama has expressed heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, for his dedicated service to the nation.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the new IGP, COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Mahama acknowledged Dr. Dampare’s significant contributions to law enforcement and national security in Ghana.
“I would like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest gratitude to the outgoing IGP. He has served our nation with dedication and commitment, and his contributions to law enforcement and national security will always be remembered,” Mahama stated.
He further commended Dr. Dampare for his unwavering efforts in ensuring the safety and security of Ghanaians.
