Speaking to a gathering of party delegates in a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the former Assin Central MP declared that his days of fiery outbursts and reactionary responses are over. Instead, he pledged to adopt a more measured and strategic approach to leadership.

“They deliberately provoke me, hoping I’ll react, but I’ve learned. I will not be distracted anymore,” Agyapong stated. “Their only argument is that Ken Agyapong gets angry easily. But I won’t fall for that again.”

A New Approach for a New Chapter

Known for his outspoken nature and no-nonsense style, Agyapong acknowledged that his past confrontational stance earned him both admirers and critics. However, as he eyes the presidency, he says political maturity is now at the core of his evolution.

“You won’t hear me throwing tantrums again. Even when someone speaks ill of me just to get a reaction, I will stay silent—I’ve turned a deaf ear,” he added.

This shift in temperament, he explained, is part of a broader transformation rooted in visionary leadership and nation-building rather than personal vendettas or reactive politics.

Kennedy Agyapong, who has made a name for himself in media, real estate, and agribusiness, said Ghana does not need leaders who dwell on personal attacks, but those with practical solutions to national issues.

“What the country needs is someone with ideas,” he emphasized. “If I’ve created thousands of jobs as a private citizen, imagine what I could do with the resources of the presidency.”
