President John Dramani Mahama will host his first media engagement of his second term on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at The Presidency starting at 8:00 pm.
A statement issued and signed by the Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on Monday, September 8, confirmed the event.
According to the statement, the media encounter will serve as a platform for President Mahama to interact with Ghanaians, through the press, on key national issues, his Resetting Ghana Agenda, ongoing policies, and flagship projects.
“It will also provide an opportunity for journalists to ask the President direct questions on a wide range of issues affecting the nation. Participation will be strictly by accreditation,” the statement noted.
Since assuming office on January 7, 2025, President Mahama has rolled out a number of initiatives under his Resetting Ghana vision, including the No Fees Stress Policy and the 24-Hour Economy initiative.
He is also expected to address critical questions on national matters such as the recent removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonorr from office.
