The government is set to release the official report on the August 6 helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight prominent individuals, including ministers and military officers. This was disclosed by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, in a Facebook post on Sunday, November 9.
According to Mr. Kwakye Ofosu, the final investigative report will first be presented to the National Security Council on Monday, November 10, before being made public the following day.

Mr. Kwakye Ofosu revealed that the full report will be shared at a press briefing on Tuesday, November 11, where Ghanaians will be provided with detailed insights into the causes of the crash and the recommendations from the investigation.
The minister also outlined a packed week of major national events. On Wednesday, November 12, President John Dramani Mahama is expected to launch the “Nkoko Nkitinkiti” programme in Kumasi — a new initiative aimed at boosting youth employment and industrial development across the Ashanti Region.
The week will conclude with the presentation of the 2026 Budget Statement to Parliament on Thursday, November 13, which Mr. Kwakye Ofosu described as one that “brims with far-reaching policy initiatives,” signaling bold economic reforms and renewed measures to stabilise growth.
