Former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has reached an agreement in principle to join Leeds United.
The 28-year-old became a free agent after leaving Everton when his contract expired on June 30. His impending move to Leeds is expected to end the club’s pursuit of their top striker target, Rodrigo Muniz.
Muniz remains with Fulham, who are reluctant to sell, while the forward is reportedly interested in a potential move to Serie A side Atalanta, who have expressed strong interest.
Further details on Calvert-Lewin’s move are expected soon as the deal progresses.
